Friendship Family Place

Family Place provides a healthy supportive environment to the whole family.  Parents who attend are supported and are provided a safe inclusive environment.  Families engage in activities together, learn new and exciting skills together.  The group dynamics allow for building communication skills as well as being able to access valuable resources that are available in the local community.

Family Place provides drop in program services to parents with children aged 5 and under twice a week.

The Family Program partners with other VAFCS Programs such as the Elders and Recreation to utilize the vast knowledge of support that is available.  Family Place programming provides valuable lifeskill tools for parents and children to work together as a family unit and this benefits their lives.

Families come together to have fun and learn, support one another and this is the best medicine the community can give and receive!
