The Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre offers an NA drop-in program for Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples looking for support in their journey of addiction recovery in a culturally safe environment. The program follows the traditional 12-step approach of Narcotics anonymous and is available every Tuesday from 7-9 PM in the theatre room.
The program is open to anyone in the community, and no referral or appointment is required. The group meetings follow the AA 12-step program, which provides a roadmap for overcoming addiction and rebuilding one's life. This program is held every Wednesday from 7-9 PM in the theatre room.

Alano Club a 12-step, AA-based recovery support meeting. These are “open” meetings, and anyone is welcome to attend and participate - you need not self-identify as an “alcoholic”. All attending must respect the confidentiality of others attending, and all Alano Club of Vancouver or other required protocols.

Native Court Worker and Counselling Association of British Columbia Alcohol and Drug program helps Indigenous people achieve a healthier and satisfying life free from alcohol and drug use. We are part of an overall system of care that includes Detoxification, Treatment, Residential Programs such as Recovery Houses, other Outpatient Services, Aftercare, Maintenance, Educational Programs, referrals to Courtworkers plus other justice related personnel and other services.
The purpose of our peer group meetings is to provide a safe and aware environment for those seeking help to question their relationship with substances, free from stigma or discrimination. APAP™ believes that you will find your answers and the best path for you and your goals for increased wellness. Our group is inclusive of all individuals in or seeking increased health in their relationship with substances. Their families, allies, and professionals are all welcome to attend our meetings.

The integrated Health and Wellness Addiction Recovery Program, "Lhet'sut'en" is delivered by our multidisciplinary team consisting of clinical counsellors and cultural knowledge holders. This program is offered to all Indigenous people and incorporates a blend of traditional healing practices along with evidence based practices in addictions treatment. Our Wellness Workers program provides community-based addictions services focused on prevention, intervention, treatment referral, and after-treatment support.

This centre offers an early recovery/stabilization program to all First Nations, Inuit and other people of Canada. This program can be defined as an assessment, orientation and readiness phase to treatment.
The program utilizes the following program resources to assist clients: acu-detox, physical fitness, psycho-educational group facilitation, mental health counselling, methadone maintenance support, attending physician, attending pharmacist and culturally appropriate ceremonies.

North Wind Wellness Centre implements a Bio-Psycho-Social affective-based treatment program to help participants heal from the heart. This program addresses the impact of historic and intergenerational trauma by guiding participants through activities and ceremonies that help to resolve trauma, grief and shame. The evidence-based approach used used on this website is effective for motivating adults with alcohol use problems to change their substance use behaviors. People can compare their drinking patterns with drinking rates of other people in the same age group.
The Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction has a mandate to reduce alcohol-and drug-related harms.
Drug Rehab Services Canada have helped and referred thousands of people to get help with their addiction. Their goal is for you to get the best advice possible so that you or a loved one can live a fulfilled life free from drugs and alcohol. We are not a treatment center but we can provide referrals for individuals seeking rehab in Canada.
