The Indigenous Community Legal Clinic (ICLC) is an educational legal clinic of the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC that provides legal services to the Indigenous Community. They provide free legal representation for people who qualify for legal assistance and have a legal issue that falls under the jurisdiction of the British Columbia Provincial Courts. Legal Aid B.C gives priority for free services to people with low incomes, but many services are available to all British Columbians. Their services include information provided by publications, insights from the Aboriginal Legal Aid in BC and Family Law website, assistance from intake assistance, collaborative community partners and legal navigators. Expert Guidance is provided by duty counsel lawyers and family advice lawyers. For those eligible, representation is attainable, for substantial family challenges, child protection cases through Parents Legal Centres, matters pertaining to criminal law, and specific issues encompassing immigration, mental health and prison law.

Parents Legal Centres (PLCs) can provide a free lawyer and an advocate to help parents address the social workers concerns about their children's safety (child protection) early on. Other services include having legal representation in court and outside court meetings, advocacy, and referrals to other public agencies. This service is available to parents any time after the social worker contacts them.
